Breathtaking Jade Mountain-Destination weddings and Honeymoons

As I continue my search for amazing marriage proposal, honeymoon and destination wedding locations in the Caribbean, I now have a few others to add to my list.   I am always searching for the most exceptional service, natural backdrops, best food and unique spaces to wow the guests and the couple.  Last week I was fortunate enough to get a private tour of some of the most spectacular resorts in St.Lucia.  One of which was the breathtaking Jade Mountain.

It’s not surprising the owner of Jade Mountain is an architect.  Nick Troubetzkoyis a Russian-Canadian architect from the west coast of British Columbia where he studied at the University of British Columbia.  It’s clear that Nick Troubetzkoyhas has an immense talent for bringing a vision to life. The architectural design is unique for the Caribbean, with bridges leading to each room.  Inside the rooms, the fourth wall is absent giving the most breathtaking view of the Piton’s of St. Lucia and the Caribbean sea. The view can be seen from the two person bathtub or the most extravagant private infinity pools tiled in colourful glass.  It’s the most luxurious way to relax and be at one with nature.

The Jade Mountain sanctuaries are deliberately techno-free; there are no telephones, radio or television.  Internet access is available at the front desk.  Butlers and housekeeping staff are there for your every need, and restaurants, bars, boutiques, art gallery, spa, scuba, bike and water-sports facilities as well as two soft sand beaches are available to Jade Mountain guests at all times.

According to Celebrity Bride Guide: Kendra Wilkinson and Hang Basketts had a 1 million dollar Playboy Mansion wedding then enjoyed a nine day honeymoon there and Jake Pavelka proposed to Vienna Girardi on “The Bachelor” finale on the Celestial Terrace.  The manager at Jade Mountain wouldn’t confirm or deny this or any other celebrity guests (past or present) as staff members have signed a contract to be responsible for keeping all guest information private.

  1. Hi Jennifer! The bay between the Piton’s, which can be seen in your photo, has great snorkeling. Steve and I spent the day there. It is so private and the beaches in St. Lucia are so warm.

Can’t wait to see more photos from St. Lucia!
